I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

Mia had the ability and deep desire
to make people feel better.

It’s testament to her big and beautiful stellar personality that she touched so many people so deeply with her presence and her artwork.

She was and is unforgettable.

Mia had the rare and beautiful opportunity to spread her creative wings from a young age and find a way to express her connection to nature, to human nature and to beauty.

Mia loved her friends and family and experienced deeply loving relationships. She was in love with the Australian bush.

She loved bushwalking and watching the soft light through the trees, the birdsong and the brilliant and beautiful sights, sounds and smells of the Australian bush.

While working in the gift shop at the Fairmont Resort Mia developed a passion for geology after rifling through Blue Mountains geology books when things were quiet.

We can only imagine where Mia might have taken her passion for geology and nature, and perhaps even combined it with her passionate artistic expression. Mia is gone but her spirit and the stories of her possibilities are infinite.

Mia’s life was so chock full of experiences, adventures, love and laughter that even her family feels her too-short life was deeply fulfilling.

Every single friend and family member had a uniquely beautiful connection with Mia. That connection can never be broken. It’s eternal, as is Mia’s spirit.

Our hope is that we all keep sharing and weaving Mia stories, throughout our lifetimes.
